Amazonas - Portfolio of Actions and Pathways Report

Amazonas has prioritised seven mitigation actions as part of its decarbonisation pathway. They primarily target the forest and land use sector, focusing on forest expansion and protection, and sustainable forest management. Actions to increase land use efficiency and sustainable agriculture will provide many co-benefits for farmers and the land.

Madre de Dios

Madre de Dios - Portfolio of Actions and Pathway Report

Madre de Dios has finalised its decarbonisation pathway - using its 2030 and 2050 emission reduction targets as a baseline. 11 mitigation actions have been selected to reach these targets. They primarily focus on the forest and land use sector, and will put a strong emphasis on management and agriculture, with the aim to reduce deforestation and maximise agricultural efficiency.

Mato Grosso

Mato Grosso - Portfolio of Actions and Pathway Report

Mato Grosso has prioritised 12 mitigation actions for its decarbonisation pathway, based off the state government's emission targets. The priority actions focus mainly on two sectors: forestry and land use, and agriculture. Implementing these actions is expected to avoid 236 million tonnes of emissions by 2030, and 373 million tonnes by 2050.

Querétaro - Portfolio of Actions and Pathway Report

The Government of Querétaro has prioritised 12 mitigation actions to help deliver its GHG emissions reduction targets. The most ambitious priority actions are those within the energy sector. Querétaro aims for 75% of energy consumption, across the public and private sectors, to come from renewable energy sources by 2050.

Quintana Roo

Quintana Roo - Portfolio of Actions and Pathway Report

Quintana Roo has developed a decarbonisation pathway which prioritises 11 mitigation actions. This has been based off its GHG emissions reduction targets. It is expected that the greatest emissions reduction will take place in the energy sector, with one action being to construct new solar farms and connect them to the national grid.

Sao Paulo

São Paulo State - Portfolio of Actions and Pathway Report

São Paulo State has prioritised 12 mitigation actions as part of its decarbonisation pathway, which supports its long term goal to be net zero by 2050. Its target actions cover multiple sectors, including energy, transport, forest and land use, republic chemical industries, industry, and waste.
