Development and evaluation of Querétaro's decarbonisation pathway

Querétaro has 12 priority actions to reduce GHG emissions over the next two decades. More work will be required over the coming years to meet the state's ambitious targets. 

The state will need to identify specific implementation mechanisms to help quantify costs and benefits. This will also mean finding methods to finance these actions, so that they can offer the most potential in terms of delivering mitigation and socio-economic benefits. 

Identifying and developing additional actions, particularly across the highly-polluting transport and industry sectors, will support Querétaro to meet its decarbonisation targets.
