BRPL will also test models to stabilize the electricity grid for EV charging and effectively integrate renewable electricity in its network.

BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) is an Indian utility company committed to switching its fleet to EV by 2030. BYPL will also encourage EV uptake among its business associates and 2,400 employees and deliver awareness programs for its 1.6 million customers in New Delhi on the benefits of EVs in reducing air pollution. BYPL has also volunteered its power distribution networks for research on the impact of renewable power sources and EV charging on the electric network.

BT Group is a UK-based telecommunications company. BT Group has a fleet of approximately 30,000 vehicles, ranging from cars to heavy duty vehicles, including 28,000 in its Openreach network engineering business. The company aims to convert its vehicles to EV where it is the best technical and economic solution and will pursue other ultra-low emission solutions where EVs are not viable. BT Group has also partnered with the Climate Group on the UK Electric Fleets Coalition.

Centrica is one the UK’s largest energy providers for businesses and consumers. Under EV100, Centrica has committed to transition its fleet of 10,000 vehicles to EV by 2030 across its operations in the UK.

Chalet Hotels Electrify its fleet by 2025 and install charging points for staff and guests www.chalethotels.com

Chalet Hotels Limited (CHL) owns, develops and manages high-end hotels in key metro cities in India. It will transition 100% of the vehicle fleet deployed across the properties in the portfolio to electric vehicles by 2025. Further, all Chalet properties will be equipped with EV Charging points for both staff and guests.

Christchurch Airport, based on New Zealand’s South Island, welcomes more than six million passengers every year. Under EV100, the airport is committed to transitioning its vehicle fleet to EV by 2030 as well as installing charging for staff and customers.  It also hosts ‘Yoogo’ – an EV sharing scheme for community use – and is challenging other businesses to commit to EVs.

Clif Bar & Company is an organic food company based in Emeryville, California. Under EV100, the company is committed to electrify its fleet by 2030, as well as installing EV charging at all facilities by 2030. To help support employees, Clif Bar is also offering financial incentives to support the purchase of commuter bicycles, as well as fuel-efficient hybrids and EVs.

As an EV100 member, CLP is committed to switching its fleet of nearly 1,000 vehicles to EV by 2030, where realistically feasible. It will also encourage EV uptake by staff by installing appropriate charging infrastructure at workplaces across its operating regions by 2030.
